P3Expeditor: Collect and Analyze Prices

Collecting Prices
The P3Expeditor system facilitates collection of price quote information from suppliers. Our "Supplier Response" system makes it easy for suppliers to get prices to you quickly and in a form that is most useful to you. Suppliers simply click on a link in the RFQ email and link to a web page where they can immediately post their prices, make comments, attach files and/or decline to quote on the job.

Manual override
If you or your supplier prefer to work off-line, a convenient data entry screen allows you to enter the prices manually. While most customers and suppliers prefer the online response system, manual entry gives you more flexibility for those situations where on-line services are not conveniently available.

Email confirmation/notification
When your suppliers submit pricing online, you immediately receive an email notification. Your supplier also receives a confirmation email. In P3Expeditor, simply click 'Online Update' and all prices are automatically sent to your computer and recorded. No typing required. Check the price comparison screen and review job pricing from your suppliers.

No Hassles for Suppliers
There are no log-on requirements or other hassles for your suppliers. Once their information is posted, the confirmation e-mails give the supplier a record of when and what they submitted.

Analyzing Prices
One of the biggest advantages P3Expeditor offers buyers is its ability to instantly provide a clear picture of pricing for a particular job. Our price comparison graphs enable instant price analysis. Additional features build on this key functionality.

The Implied Price Calculator allows you to instantly estimate job prices based on the numbers provided by your supplier. So when that job gets ordered at a quantity other than what was quoted, you can easily estimate the cost. For budgeting purposes, the Implied Price Calculator can be extremely useful!

The 'Cost per Unit' chart graphically illustrates how close you are to the long run marginal cost of your job. This can help answer the age old question: "Is there a significant savings available if I print larger quantities, or should I wait and reprint?"

Finally, 'Bidding Reports' are available to print with color charts or to instantly email to your internal customers, account executives or other involved parties.
