How do I respond to quote requests from my customer?

You can reply by fax, mail, e-mail or phone, but we suggest you ask your customers what they would prefer. Our system makes it very easy and efficient to reply through a link in your customer's e-mail quote request.

To reply automatically:

- Click on the "P3Expeditor Response Link".

This is included in every email Request For Quote (RFQ) that P3Expeditor sends (see right), and will connect directly to a web page that will send your price information to your customer.

The link is unique for you and the job you are quoting on. You simply click it or copy it to the address line in your web browser and your browser will take you directly to a web page like the one shown here.

On the "P3 Response Page", the job name, buyer and supplier are all displayed, so there is no confusion about being in the right place.

- Enter the price quotes for each quantity requested, add any comments you may have, attach any files you want to send, and click the "Submit Your Response" button.

After you submit your prices, a confirmation page will be displayed on your web browser.

Once this is completed, an email will be sent to you showing the prices you submitted - so that you will have documentation for your records. Your customer will receive a similar email, so that they know immediately that your prices have been submitted. The buyer can then use P3Expeditor to pick up the data and automatically load it into their job database.
